The loft area/4th bedroom (with the oversized beach/ocean mural artwork) is the only area upstairs. The loft area/4th bedroom has a child safety gate at the top of the stairs that can be easily removed by opening and then lifting the gate off, and easily replaced in the same manner. This loft/4th bedroom area does not have a door at the top of the stairs.
Luxury Retreat La Mesa Home by EliteGuest is a vacation home, not a party pad. Guest must review & acknowledge house rules. Non-registered/counted guests & visitors must be coordinated in advance. No visitors after 8pm.
*Property is primary home with attached/separate casita that currently has a long term occupant--not a short term rental unit. You get private use of the large deck patio, although you may see residents in the larger back yard sometimes.

House Rules
*Unauthorized, disruptive house parties create a nuisance for the neighbors and cause excessive wear and tear to the property and will not be tolerated. We are happy to work with guests that are reasonable and who are open and up front about their plans for larger groups or visitors.
1) GUEST COUNT. Guest making reservation agrees NO AUTHORIZED GUESTS WITHOUT PRIOR COORDINATION. This reservation, unless modified/agreed upon in writing via messaging shall allow a TOTAL MAXIMUM of ****{{Number of Guests}} **** guests/visitors on the property, to include **** {{Number of Guests}} **** overnight guests. Guest agrees to ** $100 ** PER extra/unauthorized guest/visitor on the property not previously authorized by host. If above guest count is incorrect, or you would like to have additional visitors, communicate this to host for approval.
2) NOISE VIOLATIONS. Guest making reservation agrees there shall be NO NOISE VIOLATIONS INVOLVING LAW ENFORCEMENT. If police respond to noise complaints and/or there is documented evidence of excessive noise, Guest agrees to ** $200 ** fine.
3) SMOKING. Guest making reservation agrees there shall be NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE PROPERTY OR ON CONCRETE DRIVE/PORCHES NEXT TO PROPERTY. Documented evidence of smoke or vape of any kind in the property (ie, cleaning services provides written or sworn statement that home has strong smell of smoke). Smoking is allowed in the outdoor area at least 25 feet from any door/window. If evidence of smoking occurs, Guest agrees to ** $300 ** fine.
4) SUSPECTED VIOLATIONS MAY RESULT IN EVIDENCE BEING DOCUMENTED. Guest making reservation agrees that in the event of suspected or alleged violations occurring, host or others (to include neighbors, etc) may take photographs and/or video of anyone on the property for the purpose of documenting violations and agrees that photographs/video may be used for claims to retain some/all of security deposit. A/V systems are installed on the property and additional recordings of violations may be made using personal, handheld cellular phones or other devices.
5) ANIMALS (if applicable). Any damages to the property from guest's animals will result in guest being charged according to documented repair costs.
6) COVID/SOCIAL DISTANCING. Guest agrees that guest is compliant with and responsible for any and all local COVID related requirements/restrictions that may be applicable to guest's stay/event.
7) PARKING. Respect parking privileges. Do not park on area streets--park in driveway only. Do not park in the single parking space on the left side--use the large parking pad to the right side.
